Welcome to BIOS DataBytes

BIOS Data Bytes is an online resource created to help educators around
the world bring ocean data into the classroom.

At BIOS, the heart of the educational journey is experiential learning opportunities that provide students with practical experiences that hone their technical and interpretive skills. To help support educators around the world to tap into ways to bring ocean data into the classroom we have created BIOS DATABYTES.

BIOS DATABYTES is a digital resource of curated oceanographic and atmospheric datasets and supporting media for educators. These curated datasets support educators to overcome the challenges of working with databases and large data sets by making them accessible and specifically tied to larger ocean and atmospheric phenomena.
